Summer is fast approaching and as a prelude to the summer season, the Sezz’ restaurant Colette reopened on 22nd April. The décor remains unchanged with olive trees and palms at its heart and with the essence of spring and reunion in the air. We may have a new team and a new menu but don’t worry, the basic concept is still the same.
The team looks forward to welcoming you
As the first rays of spring broke through, guests attended the reopening of Restaurant Colette at the Sezz. The restaurant shows great promise for the coming season and it was the first experience of these familiar surroundings for new butler Rémi Mostosi who joins the Restaurant Colette team lead by the talented Patrick Cuissard for three years. Before joining the restaurant’s ‘team’, Remi Mostosi was butler for 3 seasons at the 5-star Manali and assistant butler at the Sezz Saint-Tropez from April to October 2015. We are delighted to welcome a true professional, one who has also succumbed to the charm of this wonderful peninsula. It’s a location that is the envy of the world and those not yet familiar with the restaurant are certain to appreciate its exceptional setting. Dine on a beautiful terrace beside the swimming pool, where attentive staff see to the need of every customer while the DJ spins summer evening tunes each night of the summer and each weekend in May, June and September.
Last year the Restaurant Colette introduced a new concept – food grilled over a wood fire. It was a great success and that’s why this year’s gourmet menu has been created around the same concept. You will also enjoy the spectacular show as the meat is cooked to perfection on the grill in front of you; it truly is a feast for the eyes.
New season, new menu
To celebrate the reopening of the restaurant, a new menu promises you a memorable culinary journey. The anchovies, zucchini flower fritters, barbouillades beans and other seasonal products evoke the heady scents and flavours of the Mediterranean and are the basis for a host of sublime dishes.
Whether you approach it by land or by sea the menu will tantalise your taste buds. The chef’s travels round the world introduced him to delicious flavours. Let him tempt you land lovers with that famous Iberian ham, tasty Wagyu sirloin beef from Chile, noisettes of Aberdeen Angus steak, or a parillada wood fired “Salta” for two. Or, discover the flavour of delicious French chicken with lemon, cream of dates, and olive and red onion confit. Finally, for lovers of the sea, the menu reserves its salmon fillet, its banquette St. Pierre and its skewers of grilled prawns with garlic. The final gourmet touch, a homemade treat that combines exotic red fruits with the delicious flavour of chocolate. Sensational!
